Trick or Treat

Halloween is just around the corner and it's time to carve pumpkins! Today, I carved a cannibal pumpkin with the husband that I found on Pinterest. We listened to the Spooky Symphonies station on Pandora and carved away.

Here is a link to the Cannibalistic Pumpkin Carving Tutorial.

The hardest part was taking the skin off the pumpkin. It will test your patience but the end result is so worth it!

After two hours of hard labor, I'm happy to introduce Quinn, The Cannibal Pumpkin!

We're making these vampire pumpkins tomorrow!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Introduction

Hi Everyone!

My name is Tania and I'm a newbie at blogging. I don't know too much about blogging, but I love browsing through other people's blogs for inspiration in DIY projects for my new home. I recently moved to the Ann Arbor area in Michigan from Boston. This is a Big Change! I've been a city girl most of my life, but I love the change in pace I've experienced here in Michigan. I just purchased my very first home with my husband! There's a lot of work that needs to be done, and I have a bad habit of trying to do everything at once. That's why this blog is called, "One Step At A Time". So far we've had the lovely task of removing wallpaper. That seriously can test any marriage. Now we are priming walls, picking out paint colors, and getting ready to replace carpet and install hardwood flooring. I'm excited to get new furniture and decorate our home. My husband and I can't wait to make it our own.

I can't wait to share home projects, recipes, stories of my crazy cats and everything else that goes on in my life. I hope you all enjoy, get inspired and follow my blog!
